Newest book - just published!!
The latest book I illustrated (Nina and Little Duck by Wendy Hartmann), has just been published! Here are a few double spreads. (Click on "TRADE BOOKS" above for more information).
Thanx back to south africa. No, unfortunatly i never made graphic novel work. I often began short comic strips, because i never find storys ( or someone who writes for me). One time a friend of mine wrote a childrens story and asked me to illustrate it, but ... mmh ... maybe my style is too hard. Perhaps my latest post is the beginning of something - hope i finish a continuation on saturday. Greetings, will be back too
Keep trying!!! It is worth it when the book come out!!! But it IS hard work and a rough road!! - Been writing and illustrating for close on 30 years and have done 35 Trade books and quite a lot of educational stuff too. Only children's books but I love graphic novels - especially the Sandman graphic novels http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Zone/ 9923/sandman.html
